Healthcare, they should call it Scare-care!

I was at Kaiser last night picking up a prescription for an antibiotic to assist the release of what has been an upper respiratory infection hanging on for dear life. When I was behind the counter in line, I saw a woman at the counter paying for her pills, and it rang up $1979.28. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES!!! I thought this must be a mistake, as I turned to speak to a family friend, who was in line with me at the same time. We both marveled at how Kaiser could charge someone that fee for a prescription. I don't know what it was that the woman was taking, but the pills were very tiny, like little pellets. They looked like the food you feed fish inside a fish tank. What is our country coming to? People are having to shell out almost $2000 for healthcare? I see why people go to Canada, and to Mexico to get their pharmaceutical needs fulfilled. It seems that the cost of the airfare, and the traveling, would be worthwhile in this instance. I realize this subject doesn't seem that it about Love, as most of my blogs are, but this is about awareness, which is a form of love. We must be empowered about how our society is taking advantage of the elders in a system that is built to fail. In the philosophy of metaphysics, we believe that all forms of dis-ease come from the mind cavity. What you think about, you manifest in your physical body. That being said, we must honor our body temple, our hearts, and our minds by purifying our thoughts, doing what we can to dissolve thoughts of irritation, and of separation. I bless the woman who was getting the pills at Kaiser, as I bless all those who are in need of some support in their physical well being, beginning first in their mental well being. I know that if we hold a vibration of love in consciousness, we can make a change.
